I don't know what it is about this skirt that makes me feel so girly. It is so simple, yet so fun to wear!! I love it paired with soft pinks and neutrals! Just kind of gives of a romantic vibe. Hmmm.. Maybe I can talk the hubs into going on a date tonight!
Happy Friday! I feel like there is a TON going on in this outfit. Flowers, ruffles, bright colors, and metallic shoes all in one day? I thought the same thing, but somehow I think they all worked together! What do you think? Would you wear an outfit similar to this? How would you go about pairing this combination? Oh and guess what?! I have poison ivy! I mean seriously. I have never had this before in my 29 years and I hope I never have it again... NOT FUN!
When it has been a long week, there is nothing to brighten my mood and attitude for that matter like bright pink! I love these pants, but when I wear them to work I like to keep the top half pretty simple. A simple silk black tank and stripped blazer is plenty! I am also so excited about this arrow necklace from Bip and Bop. It is so simple and is the perfect accessory!
What is your favorite way to wear bright pants to work? Do you have a favorite way to brighten your mood?
Hey Guys! Today is all about maxi dresses as I am participating in Marion Berry's Trend Of the Month Linkup! I love how easy a maxi dress is, especially one in a t-shirt material. I can go straight from work to playing ball with Peyton which is exactly what happened when I got home yesterday!
We went out to eat Saturday night for an early Father's Day lunch. We really just wanted to get little man out of the house becasue he was so sick all of last week! It was terrible as his mommy and not being able to help him or make him better! I was going on like 3 hours of sleep each night for a week so I look horrible and completely drained in the photos. I decided to put in a little effort and wear this skater skirt from TOPSHOP. I love how it fits and is so comfortable!
I found this vest at Target the other day and I thought it would be a fun a fun addition to my wardrobe. I love Target for this. You can often find fun and interesting pieces at really good prices! I decided to pair it with a very neutral colors giving it kind of a Military vibe. It definitely reminds me of my brothers Army wardrobe. I did decide to break out this pink handbag to add a little girly flair to it! I haven't used this handbag in years, but I have used it in nearly every day the last couple of weeks! It has surprised me at well it has played into my outfits so I think it may just be my new go to bag :-)
Hey Guys! First of all hope you all are having a happy Father's Day! I am sorry I have been missing from the blogging world this last week. I have had a very sick baby on my hands that required two doctors visit and two emergency room visits. Thanks to God's grace he is feeling better now, but as you can imagine there has been nothing exciting about my wardrobe this past week. I have done good to get out of pajamas! Here is just a couple of pictures from this past week of me being on mommy duty!
Ok, so I know it looks bright and sun shinny in this pictures, but it was pouring down terribly when I left this morning. It rained so much it they actually issued a flood warning! I used to hate the rain, but now that I have these fabulous Hunter rain boots I can't wait for it to rain! I have been wanting a skirt like this for quite a while and could never find one that I was just head over heels for. I found this one at Piperlime and immediately snatched it up. I am thinking about taking it to get a little of the fullness taken out, but I have completely made up my mind yet. What do you think? Do you think it is too full?
This outfit is so simple. It is just simple trousers and a t-shirt, but when done in mint and silk the outfit becomes chic and ladylike, well at least I think it does. :) I really love the end result. I added only a few gold accessories to and kept everything really minimal. What do you think of the end result? Is too "bland" or just right? What would you add to the outfit?
Happy Monday! I don't know why weekends always go by so fast! Saturday night my husband and I went our for an early date, but it was raining which really makes it hard to dress cute. Luckily it did stop long enough to snap a couple of pictures! This outfit is a go to look for me. Jeans, top, and blazer/jacket/cardigan always work and put me right in my comfort zone while still looking put together. So about this jacket. I bought it a few years ago and the sleeves hit me at an awkward spot, but it was such a great deal I couldn't pass it up. My solution? Get the sleeves altered to be 3/4 length. Now I have a piece that works well with my wardrobe.
